Pictures of Checkpoint Charlie
Checkpoint Charlie was the border crossing foreigners used to travel between East and West Berlin. Today, the area consists of a recreation of the original booth and the "You are leaving the American sector" sign. There is also a private museum nearby with exhibits focusing on the Berlin Wall.
